Trouble updating wii u

I've got a really shoddy connection, it goes on and off frequently.

I was able to download the latest system update (as it saved progress of download from each attempt) but my software update for Zelda isn't working out. Will downloading the update in on/off segments with my wifi dropping f*** the data up and cause game glitches or errors?

To see if it's any good, whether or not I'd like it, nothing too big.

This Wii Menu update will detect and automatically delete such files.

The console will now restart...." I've try to do it like 10 times, and I can't find anything online about it. Raise a support call with Nintendo but had no response.

The fact the the download completes but the update fails leads me to believe that the issue isn't their servers or my network. I took my Wii U to my parents house and used their wi-fi.

To update your Wii console to the latest version, simply connect your console to the Internet and manually select "Wii System Update" from the Wii System Settings page.

You can check the version of your Wii console by looking at the numbers on the top right corner on page 1 of the Wii System Settings page.
